AC/DC Electrical Systems (Maintenance/Troubleshooting)

(with optional Industry 4.0 Certification Exam Opportunity with SACA on 4th day)

Registration required. MUST be 18 years of age with verifiable address in the Coastal Bend region.

Learn the fundamentals of AC/DC electrical systems used in industrial manufacturing plant applications. Through classroom and hands-on training, participants learn to operate, install, design, and troubleshoot basic AC/DC electrical circuits for various applications. Learn to use a voltmeter to measure voltage, calculate total parallel resistance, troubleshoot a transformer, and learn about electromagnetic devices, switched, and combination circuits.

Optional Industry 4.0 Certification Exam opportunity on Friday, 7/25/25, with SACA (Smart Automation Certification Alliance). This is a stackable credential that can launch your journey to the Electrical Systems Specialist Certification; an industry-driven certification, developed for industry by industry. This opportunity is for participants of the (7/22-7/24/25) AC/DC Electrical Systems course only. 

Registration for the optional certification exam will be made available in-class on 7/24/25.
