Summary/Description:
Participants will receive hands-on training in robotics construction, programming and operation. Participants will work
in teams to construct and test a mobile robot to conduct predetermined tasks. Using state-of-the-art components and
engineering materials, participants will build a robot to complete the assigned mission.
Target Audience:
The course can be customized to fit the following attendees:
• Engineers with a four-year university degree
• Technicians with a two-year technical college degree
Learning Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
• Identify the basic components of robotic systems
• Explore the different robot components (sensors, motors, and controllers)
• Utilize robotics components to build customized robots
• Test and troubleshoot robot operation
