Train Here. Work Here. Live Here.

The population of the Rio Grande Valley is projected to double by the year 2045. Thanks to funding from the Texas Legislature, the Texas A&M Rio Grande Valley Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Hub (RAMI) was established in 2021 to enhance skills in demand by the advanced manufacturing sector in the Rio Grande Valley (RGV). Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) is administering the hub, connecting residents to the training they need to excel in careers at home while also stimulating the local economy.

TRAIN is composed of a balance between workforce, innovation, and community.

With its close proximity to the robust manufacturing ecosystem, the Rio Grande Valley is uniquely qualified to be the site of expansive training and innovation in the latest technological advances for the 21st-century manufacturing workforce. By working with community leaders and local industry, the hub supports transforming the Rio Grande Valley into a leader in advanced manufacturing.
