Mechanical Fabrication

| Mechanical Fabrication 1 trainees focus on the safe and proper application of basic hand tools used in mechanical fabrication assembly. This course covers industry-relevant mechanical fabrication skills from basic to more sophisticated power tools, including skills ranging from using c-clamps, vises, and pliers, to more advanced torque tools, torque wrenches, and power tools. Students learn about the many types of bolts, wrenches and other fittings commonly used in industry and how to properly apply them. This includes pneumatic fabrication fittings. The Mechanical Fabrication hands-on training is performed on a workstation, precision fabrication parts set, mechanical fabrication tool set, standard parts set, component kit, skills part kit, tool kit, hardware kit, and bolt stretch kit. |
